Brief History:

“360Design.org began its journey in 2016 under the visionary leadership of Gerald Ferreira, a pioneer in the digital realm. With roots deep in the web development environment since 1995, Gerald’s passion took a transformative turn when he began exploring the wonders of virtual reality in 1998 and the marvels of augmented reality in 2010. While the website primarily serves as a portfolio, showcasing an array of groundbreaking projects, it also stands as an invitation to potential clients, introducing them to our avant-garde services. Always at the forefront of technologies like Web Development, Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and SEO, we are the harbingers of the digital revolution.

Our Founder:

“I am Gerald Ferreira, an entrepreneur from South Africa with a fervent passion for Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. With over 24 years of experience spanning VR, AR, IT, Web Development, and SEO, I’ve spearheaded the development of more than 125 virtual reality solutions, ensuring the satisfaction of over 250 clients. My endeavors have garnered more than 15 million views on Google Street View.

I wear multiple hats – from being the founder of several eminent Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality companies in South Africa, such as VR 360, Virtual Realities, Virtual Reality Schools, and Virtual Reality Universities, to establishing a Virtual Reality Innovation hub. This hub is my contribution to equipping South Africans for the 4th Industrial Revolution, emphasizing the transformative role of VR and AR.

Alongside Gerald’s vision and dedication, there’s Ronel Ferreira, who has been a pillar of the company since 2004. Ronel and Gerald have collaboratively breathed life into countless projects over the years. While Gerald dives deep into the technological realms, Ronel masterfully handles client relations, ensuring that every partnership is built on trust and mutual respect.

Her acumen in marketing drives the company’s presence in the ever-competitive digital landscape. Much of the seamless operations and the impeccable reputation that 360Design.org boasts today can be attributed to Ronel’s behind-the-scenes efforts. Together, they form an indomitable duo, bringing a blend of innovation, management, and customer-centricity to the table.

The Resilient Mastermind: Herman Moolman

Joining the ranks in 2019, Herman Moolman quickly became an invaluable asset to the team. Though he harbors a deep-seated aversion to being thrown into uncharted waters, Gerald, with his penchant for challenges, often pushes Herman right into the deep end. But here’s the remarkable thing about Herman – no matter how deep or turbulent the waters, he always emerges, not just swimming, but mastering the waves with grace.

The result? Phenomenal work that consistently leaves us in awe. This playful push-and-pull dynamic between Gerald and Herman is a testament to the trust they share and the incredible outcomes born from stepping out of one’s comfort zone.

The Wordsmith of 360Design.org:

In 2021, our team welcomed another luminary – Breyten Odendaal. As our copywriting genius, Breyten has the rare talent of turning the complex intricacies of our work into compelling narratives that resonate with our audience. His vast knowledge is awe-inspiring; ask him about the ‘when, where, and how’ of almost anything, and he’s likely to respond without skipping a beat, making Google seem almost redundant. While he might be a tad clumsy, spilling a coffee now and then, when it comes to wielding words, his precision and finesse are unmatched. Breyten not only brings expertise but a wealth of knowledge and a touch of humor to our team, making the journey of innovation all the more enjoyable.

Social Responsibility and Outreach:

My commitment extends beyond business. With a heartfelt desire to uplift communities, I’ve been actively involved in numerous social responsibility initiatives. In Klerksdorp, we’ve set up a Virtual Reality innovation hub, providing the community with unparalleled VR education and training, preparing them for the 4th Industrial Revolution. Our Virtual Reality School and University programs offer affordable education and training solutions, striving to bridge the technological gap. Regular community sessions introduce Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality to previously disadvantaged groups. As an advocate for the digital age, I take pride in speaking at events about Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and the 4th Industrial Revolution, emphasizing their potential to reshape our world.”
